Darrell On Aconcagua

DARRELL ATWATER - PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER OF NO LIMITS ADVENTURES

Growing up in New England, Darrell's love of the outdoors was virtually instilled at birth, spending much of his youth hiking many of the area's mountains.  He went on to work as an international business consultant for many years, working with some of the world's largest and most successful companies.  An explorer at heart, he traveled the world continuing to feed his hunger for knowledge of remote places, cultures, people and animals.  Pursuing his passion for mountaineering has taken him to South America, Africa, Australia and of course the Himalayas.  He founded No Limits Adventures to share his passions for a variety of outdoor activities while combining them with enriching cultural experiences.  Darrell is very proud to have some of the top guides in the world working with him to lead these amazing adventures.

John Hauf

JOHN HAUF - SENIOR GUIDE, INTERNATIONAL

Trained as a climber and wildlife biologist, John has had a special affinity for wild places ever since he was a child.  He is an educator, mountaineer, explorer, entrepreneur and true believer in the power of trust, respect and tolerance.  John has a special attraction to Patagonia’s Northern Ice Field where he has conducted numerous expeditions.  He has climbed and guided extensively in South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and North America, including Denali, Aconcagua, Kilimanjaro, New Zealand, Bolivia, the Alps, Yosemite and many places the rest of us will never even have heard of.  John was a member of Chile's National Committee on Safety and Risk Prevention in Mountain Sports and is a private outdoor risk management consultant.  During his 24-year long career with the National Outdoor Leadership School he accumulated 300+ field weeks and founded and directed the Patagonia Branch in southern Chile for fifteen years.

Onesmo

ONESMO GABRIEL MOLLEL - SENIOR GUIDE, TANZANIA

A native of Tanzania Onesmo had been leading expeditions in Africa for the past 14 years. He speaks Swahili, Maasai and English. He has guided extensively in eastern Africa leading more than 50 ascents of Kilimanjaro, numerous walking safaris inside the Serengeti National Park as well as game viewing safaris throughout Tanzania.  He has undergone extensive training including CPR, First Aid, Life Guard, Leadership, Tour Driver Guide, Kilimanjaro National Park, Wilderness medicine, NOLS semester in Kenya, Tanzania Police and Army Firearm Training and maintains his Wilderness First Responder certification.  Onesmo has made multiple trips to the US and enjoyed spending time in New England as well as visiting Yellowstone National Park.

James

JAMES ADIEL KIVUYO - SENIOR GUIDE, TANZANIA

Born in Arusha Tanzania, James has attended the Technical College of Arusha, The Professional Tour Guide School and the College of African Wildlife Management.  He has earned certifications in Engineering, Tourism and Tour Guiding, and Natural Resource Identification.  He also holds a degree in Natural Resources Management and Biodiversity Conservation.  Working on expeditions since 1996, James has guided numerous expeditions on Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru as well as game viewing expeditions through Tanzania and Kenya.  He maintains his Wilderness First Responder certification, Adult CPR & Airway Management.  He has also completed the Tanzanian Police and Army Firearm training.  James is one of the few guides working today that is trained to lead walking safaris in the Serengeti National Park.  He has visited the United States where he has shared many presentations on Tanzania and he also enjoyed climbing Mount Baker.

Peter

MSAFIRI P. ELIAS (PETER) - SENIOR GUIDE, TANZANIA

Peter is married and lives with his wife in Arusha Tanzania.  Working on expeditions for the past 10 years, he is also fluent in English, Swahili, and Chagga.  He also speaks a small amount of Japanese.  Peter attended the College of African Wildlife Management where he received his diploma in Wildlife Management, studying the wide varieties of African amphibians, birds, reptiles, and small and large mammals.  He has also attended NOLS Wilderness training and maintains his Wilderness First Responder certification.  He has lead many expeditions on Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru as well as game viewing throughout Tanzania.  Peter is also one of the few guides working today that is trained to lead walking safaris in the Serengeti National Park.

Lakpa Rita Sherpa    

LAKPA RITA SHERPA - SENIOR GUIDE, INTERNATIONAL

Born in Thame, Namche VDC 07, of Solukhumbu District, Lakpa Rita Sherpa started mountaineering in 1990. Lakpa Rita is known as "The Best Sirdar in the Khumbu". In February 2009, Lakpa became the first Sherpa, and first Nepali to climb the Seven Summits. Chairperson of Constituent Assembly Subas Nembang on March 28 felicitated mountaineer Lhakpa Rita Sherpa, the FIRST NEPALI climber to ascend the tallest peaks in all seven continents. No Limits Adventures' founder is proud to have summited Mount Aconcagua in Argentina with Lakpa Rita Sherpa on a very memorable expedition.

Kil Bahadur Magar    

DIL BAHADUR (GOPAL) MAGAR - SENIOR CHEF & TREKKING CLIMBING GUIDE, NEPAL

Gopal born in Kerung 03, Solukhumbu District.  He has worked in the tourism industry for more then 20 years.  He is one of the best chefs and trekking climbing guides working today.  He is a very experience guide with trusted knowledge to make leadership decision.  He had been apart of many treks in various regions of Nepal, such as: Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Dolpo, Island peak, Mera Peak, Lobuche peak.   He has also lead additional treks India and Tibet.

    

BHARAT KARKI - SENIOR TREKKING GUIDE, NEPAL

Karki born in Bamti VDC 05, Ramechhap District.  He has been working as a trekking guide for more then 25 years.  He is one of the most experienced guides working today.  He has completed treks to Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Dolpo, Mera La Amphu Labsta and many others in Nepal.

Prakash B. Magar    

PRAKASH B. MAGAR - TREKKING GUIDE, NEPAL

Prakash born in Janterkhani VDC 05, Okhaldhunga District. He has been guiding for the past 7 years.  He is a young, enthusiatic and energetic person, eager to ensure everyone enjoys their trek to the fullest.  He has done many treks around Nepal to such places as Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Mustang, Makalu, and Dolpo.

Nim Magar    

NIM B. MAGAR - TREKKING GUIDE, NEPAL

Nim has been guiding for the last 5 years.  He born in Janterkhani VDC 03 Okhaldhunga District. He has done most of the treks in Nepal, Khangsung and Karta Valley treks in Tibet.

Deepak Bahadur Magar    

DEEPAK BAHADUR MAGAR - TREKKING COOK GUIDE, NEPAL

Deepak was born in Kerung VDC 06, Solukhumbu District and has been supporting treks and expeditions for the past 20 years.  He has done many trips to Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Mustnag, Manaslu in Nepal.  He has also supported trips to Mt. Kailash, Mt. Cho Oyu and Lhakpa Ri in Tibet.  He loves to cook different meals for the group. He also speaks French and English language.

Passang Tenji Sherpa    

PASSANG TENJI SHERPA - TREKKING GUIDE, NEPAL

Passang was born in Namche VDC 04, Phurte, Solukhumbu District. He has been working as trekking guide for the past 8 years.  He has worked for treks and expeditions to Mount Everest Base Camp, Island Peak, Lobuche East, Kanchenjunga, Annapurna Trek, Saipal Trek & Kanjiroba trek in Dolpo.
