Mountaineering has so much to offer to those that hear its' calling.  Whether it is for the love of nature, the personal challenges, or the comradery shared with fellow climbers, mountaineering can be tremendously fulfilling.  The mixture of terrains, changing climates and remote nature of the sport, brings with it the need for a strong foundation from which to build upon.

Our Beginner Mountaineering course is designed to help aspiring climbers obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to safely pursue this incredible sport.  Perhaps you have been a life long outdoor enthusiast who has just been bitten by the mountaineering bug.  Or, perhaps you've made some initial climbs and realize you need that additional knowledge and skill building to prepare you for further challenges.

With our hands on instruction in the field, you'll have an excellent opportunity to learn, ask questions, and practice the techniques being taught.  There will also be multiple summit attempts planned during the training.  Conducted in the Andes Mountains of Patagonia Chile, our 'classroom' astounds most participants and is coveted by mountaineers around the world.

More specifically, training will be conducted on the Contreras Mountain Range (2500m/8200ft), the Hidden Basin found within the Contreras, or the Paulina Ice Field (2200m/7216ft), based upon conditions at the time of training.
